Patients who have received treatment for gynecological cancers may have physical therapy needs, including management of pain and fatigue.
Penn Therapy & Fitness therapists can provide rehabilitation services to manage gynecologic oncology conditions including (but not limited to):

We collaborate with Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center to provide our Gynecologic Oncology Program. We give you broader access to resources, specialists and staff who will work closely with your team and your primary care physician to make sure the lines of communication and care are in place.
Your Penn Therapy & Fitness physical therapist will work with you to develop a rehabilitation plan that’s right for you, including:
- Cancer fatigue
- Pelvic floor dysfunctions – incontinence, constipation, diarrhea, sexual dysfunctions, etc.
- Pelvic pain
- Range of motion and strength deficits
- Soft tissue and/or scar adhesions from surgery and/or radiation therapy
