James Arnone

James Arnone, PT, DPT, Cert MDT graduated from University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience, and then from Widener University in 2002 with a Master’s in Physical Therapy.  He then completed the transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Widener in 2012. James earned a credential from the McKenzie Institute International for Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy in 2005 for treatment of individual with spine conditions. He earned level 1 and 2 certifications from Functional Movement Systems in both Functional movement screening and the Selective Functional movement assessment.  His areas of clinical interest include orthopedic conditions, spine conditions, and overall movement dysfunction.

He is especially interested in gaining an understanding of how each individuals overall movement ability is contributing to their problem and allow for getting to the root of the problem.  His philosophy is to assess each patient’s individual needs and use manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and motor control training to improve a person’s condition and make them a better moving person. James earned a credential from the McKenzie Institute International for Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy in 2005 for treatment of individual with spine conditions. Functional Movement Systems and is Level 1 and 2 certified in both Functional movement screening and the Selective Functional movement assessment. James also enjoys teaching and serves as a clinic instructor for Physical Therapy students and spent 8 years as adjunct faculty at Widener University in the Physical Therapy department and lectures yearly at Arcadia
