Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania

The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania's world-class faculty and staff are dedicated to superior patient care, education and research for a better, healthier future. Innovative research coupled with responsive, hands-on care allows us to tailor treatment specifically to individual patient needs.

Our physical, occupational and speech therapists work closely with a patient’s medical team including the doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, to determine the most effective rehabilitation plan that will help the patient regain function. Therapists provide a range of specialized therapies based on the needs of the patient and physician. They evaluate patients and provide post acute-care recommendations for further rehabilitation.

Upon discharge, patients needing further care have access to a range of therapy services available from Good Shepherd Partners. Whether they need long-term careinpatient rehabilitation or outpatient therapy, patients can expect the same quality therapy and rehabilitative care that they received while hospitalized.
