Pelvic Floor Disorders


Damage or injury to the pelvic floor can be painful and disruptive. Weakened muscles, ligaments and nerves in the abdomen can cause pelvic floor disorders, especially in women, which can also be challenging to diagnose. Left untreated, these disorders may significantly affect a patient’s day-to-day life.

Penn Therapy & Fitness therapists can provide rehabilitation services to manage conditions related pelvic floor disorders including (but not limited to):

  • Incontinence
  • Pain in the pelvis, hip, abdomen, thigh or lower back
  • Overactive bladder

We offer a variety of treatment options symptoms of a pelvic floor disorders, including an evaluation of the pelvic floor and associated muscles and structures, and biofeedback.
